Enso Village is seeking to find a Chief Financial Officer to serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and lead the Finance and Accounting Operations, Business Development and Business Process Improvement work of the organization.
This position develops and executes overall Finance, Business Development and Business Process Improvement strategy that aligns with the organizations mission and objectives. Directs the development and implementation of policies and programs in areas including managing the depository and investment accounts, AP/Payroll, senior living billing and AR and forecasting and budgeting. Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and must have strong knowledge and experience in internal controls and GAAP. Leadership with our partners in sourcing and GPO management is also an expectation for the role. Will require becoming knowledgeable in California non-profit laws and regulations generally as well as laws and regulations specific to RCFEs (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly) (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly) and CCRCs (Continuing Care Retirement Community) in California.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor's degree is preferred, however- a combination of education and work experience equivalent to a college degree + advanced preparation in finance and accounting will be considered.
A minimum of 7 years experience within the finance and accounting profession.
CPA preferred.
Senior living experience desirable.
Supervisory experience with demonstrated experience as a Mentor or Coach.
Strongly prefer Spanish language proficiency and/or the willingness to rapidly learn.
Must be an organized, detail-oriented self-starter with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Able to demonstrate cooperative behavior with team members.
Be customer-service oriented and possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; must have strong presentation skills.
Must be computer literate; have experience in or willingness to quickly learn ERP, EHR, POS, mobile financial services tools and any other related systems and technologies.
Must possess excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
Must be flexible, possessing strong organizational and time management skills.

This Role Expects:
Participation in Manager on Duty (MOD) rotation the individual in this role must commit to participating in a rotation that would mean being available to take a phone call within 10 minutes and to be able to get to the community for issue escalation and resolution.
