The Infrastructure Senior Technology Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for assisting with Infrastructure/Cloud Technologies and help desk administration activities, including network maintenance, technical guidance, and security in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Be a member of Level 3 Cloud Operations Team
+ Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
+ Ensure currency & completeness of on-call playbooks to continually improve MTTR.
+ Collaborate with Release Engineering & Product Development teams to develop change management strategies e.g. canary-style deployments, pushing out new releases without interrupting services, and rolling back features that encounter problems.
+ Manage efficiency and performance of system resources utilized, to balance demand (load), capacity, and product service performance.
+ Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
+ Drive total quality improvement of the cloud solutions to minimize and eliminate incidents due to architecture or design defects (SPOF), capacity related incidents, and EOL/EOVS.
+ Create complex project plans, perform impact analysis, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolutions to restore services.
+ Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and create automation of repetitive tasks.
+ Provide technical/strategic direction and act as advisor/coach to junior members.
+ Develop projects required for design of metrics, bench-marking activities and best practices
+ Contribute to technical direction and strategic goals
+ Drive Root Cause analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
+ Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and examine and update processes and procedures as necessary
+ Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
+ Can exercise rational judgementand collaboration.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Qualifications:**
+ 8-12 years of experience in enterprise level IT Cloud based technologies (PaaS, IaaS, Cloud Infrastructure Services, Public Cloud Service Providers)
+ Experience with issues facing large scale distributed server environments
+ Experience in architecture and support best practices in Pivotal Cloud Foundry & RedHat OpenShift in a private cloud environment or Amazon AWS, GCP, Azure.
+ Experience in open source technologies like, Docker, Git, SpringIO, NGINX, Tomcat
+ Experience in CICD tooling like, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube, Chef, RTC, BMC RLM
+ Understanding of Cloud application design principles such as 12 factor apps
+ Broad knowledge in systems monitoring, alerting and analytics AppDynamics, Logstash, Splunk, ELK, etc.
+ Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
+ Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
+ Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills
+ Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
**Technical Skills Set:**
+ Hands on Expertise in Cloud Platform administration and management of Pivotal Cloud foundry , RedHat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Container Technologies, Redis, Gemfire , AWS, GCP, NGINX.
+ Experience on monitoring tools like ELK, Splunk and AppD
+ Experience on CI/CD tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, Artifactory, and RLM is preferred
+ Experience on IaaS , PaaS Platforms (VMware, ESX, NSX, Docker, Kubernetes, PCF, OpenShift
**Education:**
+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
