The CNC Maintenance Technician safely and independently performs preventive, routine, and reactive maintenance tasks. This role is at Metem, a GE Power business. Metem offers cooling hole technologies in the power generation and aerospace industries to increase engine efficiency. **Essential Responsibilities**
As a CNC Maintenance Technician, you will
+ Repair, maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines
+ Perform predictive, preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance
+ Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
+ Use manuals, technical drawings, equipment vendors and other resources for problem solving
+ Calibrate process control equipment and instrumentation
+ Document work activities using CMMS
+ Perform, as assigned, other similar and related duties
**Qualifications/Requirements**
+ Associates degree in a technical field from an accredited university/college with a minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 7 years CNC maintenance
+ Ability to read and understand schematics, diagrams, and drawings for electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical equipment

+ Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends, as required
+ Ability and willingness to qualify for / utilize specialized personal protective equipment as required for the position, including arc flash and fall protection
+ Ability and willingness to obey all safety rules, including wearing personal protective equipment (i.e., steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection in designated areas)
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Working knowledge of CNC controls, mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles
+ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
+ Proficiency in electro-mechanical, industrial control, servo, pneumatic, hydraulic, and pump systems
+ Prior experience with machines from Ona, Tek4, Winbro, Chmer, Agie, Mitsubishi, Okuma, Micron, HAAS and/or others
+ Understanding of PLC ladder logic
+ Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
+ Self-motivated and results driven
+ Strong written and verbal communications skills
+ Basic computer skills
