Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) serves the core financial needs of individual clients and plan participants by providing best in class, integrated products in the most intuitive, efficient and client friendly way while maintaining a forward thinking mindset and risk management focus. RPWS is responsible for both the institutional and personal retirement capability set to include 401(k), Equity and Health Benefit plans for companies of all sizes as well as college savings, personal retirement planning, retirement income, insurance and estate planning for individuals. RPWS also provides tools and content that enables advisors and bankers to help their clients live their best financial lives.



**Job Description:**



Creates educational and marketing content for participants in 401(k), equity award, nonqualified and other employer-sponsored plans promoting the benefits of participation and the products and services available through Merrill. Develops materials designed to educate plan participants on a variety of saving, investing and other financial wellness topics. Ensures materials are accurate, engaging, and encourage positive participant actions.



**Responsibilities:**



Creates communication and education programs to support participant enrollment, adoption and utilization of their benefits and related services, as well as financial wellness education. Media spans digital (microsites, email, other HTML content), to seminars, to print.



+ Working with creative briefs, able to develop concepts working with partners, and then translate those concepts to campaigns and other collateral

+ Collaborates with engagement consultants, project managers, designers and supports seeing that projects are managed to agreed upon timelines

+ Writes original copy in addition to providing editing and proofreading services to ensure content is on point and accurate

+ Serves as primary editorial contact for marketing platforms and content management systems

+ Maximizes the efficiencies of best-practice content



**Required Skills:**



+ Expertise in MS Word, PowerPoint, demonstrated ability to adapt to new tools (ex. InCopy)

+ Excellent communication skills both oral and written

+ Minimum 3-5 years editorial/ content development experience

+ Superior organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail

+ Experience with marketing automation platforms (ex. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Seismic, Drupal)

+ Background in financial services/retirement industry preferred
