Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) serves the core needs of plan sponsors and plan participants by providing best in class, integrated products in the most intuitive, efficient and client friendly way while maintaining a forward-thinking mindset and risk management focus. RPWS is responsible for the institutional retirement capability set to include 401(k), Equity and Health Benefit plans for companies of all sizes. RPWS also provides tools and content that enables advisors and bankers to help their clients live their best financial lives.
**Job Description:**
The **_Consultant Relations Specialist_** plays a key role within the Institutional Product and Distribution team within the Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions line of business. The Consultant Relations Specialist supports the Consultant Relations strategy and industry engagement strategy spanning Defined Contribution, Equity, DB OCIO and Health Benefits.
The role requires strategy and coverage model design associated with serving consultants and boosting our industry presence. The design and implementation of these strategies will align our capabilities, value proposition and research insights with the strategies and perspectives of the various consultancies, their clients, and the industry.
The candidate will work within the team to develop and execute our comprehensive coverage model, design and implement firm-specific consultant scorecards, review and implement changes to SalesForce, design and implement team-member activity scorecards, and assist in maintaining industry memberships to ensure visibility of Bank of America.
**Primary responsibilities:**
+ Work as a key member of our client-facing Industry Relations team
+ With 90% of our RFPs driven by third party investment consultants, assist in developing a robust coverage model aligning consultant relations professionals to the primary firms and secondary firms operating in this space
+ Assist in developing the overall coverage model, the operating routines, and calendar to ensure flawless execution
+ Assist in evaluating our pitch materials and communications strategy, and developing a robust framework to consistently deliver information to the; this includes assessing some competitor materials and benchmarking our current state against industry best practices
+ Assist in developing and implementing scorecards for these firms to ensure we are executing our coverage model
+ From an internal perspective, assist in the development of internal scorecards for each of our Consultant Relations professionals
+ Review SalesForce, recommend and execute changes designed to optimize capture and reporting of key activities
+ Review third-party consultants reporting needs and develop SIM and OpEx initiatives designed to meet these needs
**_Required Skills:_**
+ Minimum 3 years experience in financial services
+ Highly motivated team player with a desire to work on a wide range of projects
+ Exhibits high degree of integrity and interest in the institutional retirement industry landscape
+ Ability to work well with different individual and contacts of all levels of the business in a fast-paced environment
+ Intellectual curiosity; desire to constantly learn and continuously improve
+ Detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-up skills
+ Self-motivated and disciplined about setting and achieving objectives, meeting deadlines with limited oversight
+ Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
+ Excellent presentation, business writing and communication skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
