Cisco Customer Experience (CX) team seeks Consulting Engineers to join some of the industrys best thinkers in developing and deploying todays most Professional Service Provider Mobility technologies.

The Team

We are looking for an engineer with strong Mobility Technology knowledge but also with good communications skills. This position requires to Work with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources (e.g. Cisco account teams, partners) on the strategy/deployment/optimization of Cisco services and solutions.

Role & Responsibilities

The engineer in this position jointly creates and reviews project deliverables e.g. Design recommendations, High Level Design, Low Level Design, Implementation/ Change Management Plans, HLD / LLD / CIQ / configs / Test Plans / FOA testing/POCs/QBRs
  
You will establish and maintain close relationships with your internal Cisco peers, (Fellow NCEs, Development Engineers, Product Engineers SDMs, PMs), and most importantly the Customer in an ongoing basis, as well as their Leadership team. 

You are a Self-motivated, self-driven, excellent teammate and should be flexible to work on any assigned tasks and adjust to changing business priorities and plans.

You have 6-11 years of Industry experience in Mobile packet core technologies with a System testing or deployment background.

Required Skills

       Team player with excellent communication skills 

      You have worked on System/performance/solution testing of 4G (PGW, MME, SGW) 5G Packet core solutions (SMF, AMF,UPF) or CUPS (Control, User plane Separation)

      You have 6-11 years of Industry experience in Mobile packet core technologies with a System testing or deployment background.

       RHEL / Openstack, Ubuntu, Kubernetes and Docker container experience with bare metal installations and administration

       Hypervisors, preferably Openstack & VMWare (Install, manage, networking & performance

       PCRF / Diameter Gx, Gy, Sp, Rx, Sy, Sd experience

       Excellent troubleshooting skills reviewing call flow logic, application logs and troubleshooting interface problems with WireShark

       Language skills: English & Spanish (Both Mandatory)

 

 

Plus

       Advanced Linux skills e.g. configuration, troubleshooting, performance, NET-SNMP, rsyslog, TACACS+

       TCP/IP

       Application experience: Installation, configuration & troubleshooting

       APIs experience: SOAP, REST

       Scripting experience (BASH, Python etc.)

       Database administration: Mongo DB and LDAP preferred with understanding of HA methodologies

       Grafana/Collectd and application KPIs

       A willingness to travel
