Credit Risk Analytics & Reporting - Risk Analysis Specialist II (International & GWIM)

**Job Description:**



Responsible for performing complex analysis and is engaged in the development of modeling that maximizes profits and asset growth and minimizes credit and operating losses and other risk exposures. Provides analytical support on various product strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of performance reports for Senior Management. Reviews and analyzes trends in current population distributions and recommends strategies. May participate in or develop complex program models to extract data and use databases to provide statistical and financial modelling.



The Credit Risk Analytics and Reporting team produces reports, dashboards and analysis used to identify, monitor and manage credit risk at Bank of America. Effective credit risk reporting is critical to provide a clear understanding of current and emerging risks, and ensures the bank can deliver responsible growth within our risk framework.



The Risk Analysis Specialist will use their business and technical knowledge to work on multiple reports at various stages of the lifecycle. They will be responsible for delivering these reports, accurately and as scheduled. The team also provides timely ad-hoc data and analysis, such as in response to market or geo-political events. We strive for best practice in reporting and the Risk Analysis Specialist should set themselves a high standard when it comes to reporting documentation and controls.



The team is focused on automation and uses business intelligence tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy and SQL Server Reporting Services. The successful candidate will have familiarity with SQL (Oracle Exadata) and building reports and be someone who is intellectually curious with a process improvement mindset.



Required Skills and Experience:



+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

+ 2+ years of experience in a reporting, BI or MIS role

+ Experience using SQL and relational databases

+ Proficient using BI tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy or Microsoft SSRS

+ Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and data analysis



Desired Skills and Experience:



+ Knowledge of ETL tools such as Alteryx or languages such as Python

+ Familiar with data management and governance such as BCBS 239 or SOX controls

+ Experience working with an Agile development process and collaborating with technology teams

+ Master's degree or large data experience preferred

+ Programming experience
