Position description
Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.

Qualifications
Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program. Organized, efficient and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.



Additional qualifications
Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred.

License or certification
ARRT certified in Radiography
ARRT certified in CT within 18 months of hire or 24 months for Critical Access Hospital, Per Diem, or Supplemental employees.
Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership.
Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure).

Schedule details
Shifts are as needed, which may include:
Day hours, between 7AM & 8PM weekdays & 830-430 Saturdays
On Call hours between 8PM & 7AM weekdays, after regular hours on Saturdays and all day Sundays
Possible holiday hours, if interested
Coverage at both Osseo and Mondovi clinic, with potential to help cover open shifts at other MCHS NWWI locations.

Weekend schedule
Weekend hours begin with late shift Friday & call Friday night
Saturday - regular hours 830-430, on call outside those hours
Sunday - on call
*Weekends can be shared/split with other techs.
*This position may or may not include weekend rotation (every 5th-7th)
