Position Description:
Position Purpose:

This position offers an exciting opportunity as a Cybersecurity Engineer II within the Data Protection – Data Loss Prevention team.  To be successful, you will need self-starting abilities to conduct agent troubleshooting, policy and rule troubleshooting, endpoint performance, configuration changes, and policy tuning. You will be a key contributor to the optimization of advanced Data Protection security controls across a large enterprise.  To succeed you will need the ability to work with various cross-functional teams both within and outside of Cyber-Security.  You will also drive the continual improvement of the resiliency and function of current DLP capabilities.  On a typical day, you can expect to provide agent and policy support to end-users, provide investigation support to the SOC, drive the improvement of DLP processes and procedures through automation and streamlining, develop performance monitoring capabilities, conduct analysis of data protection findings, provide remediation support, be a team player, bring fresh ideas and more.

• Work with Data Protection technologies such Forcepoint Endpoint and Email DLP

• Work directly with end-users on agent and performance troubleshooting

• Partner with senior engineers on the deployment of agents and policies

• Conducts analysis of and provides metrics regarding DLP trends, anomalies, etc.

• Test, validate and tune operationalized DLP policy rules to help mitigate the risk to THD as it relates to data protection.

• Escalate data loss incidents to the SOC and provide investigation support

• Work in a collaborative cross-matrix environment and be able to build and maintain key relationships throughout the business

• Endpoint (Windows & Mac OSX) experience is heavily preferred

• Basic Scripting experience is preferred Protecting what matters most to our associates and consumers by securing our sensitive data and critical assets from current and emerging threats.   Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
  100% Deliver Execution & Problem Solving - Collaborate with Enterprise Technology to configure and integrate cybersecurity systems that mitigate risk; Troubleshoot and quickly resolve escalated incidents; Design, build, configure, maintain, monitor cybersecurity threat defense capabilities and user access management; Coordinate integration and collaboration with managed security providers; Investigate and recommend corrective actions related to incidents
