Role Summary
The Strategic Compliance Projects team is a specialized data delivery group that coordinates execution of enterprise compliance work for regulatory compliance programs spanning multiple data domains and business units. The team sits within the Data & Analytics Engineering space and exists to help Evernorth drive improvements in the accessibility and quality of our data assets and tools, and allow us to deliver regulatory compliance data solutions faster than we do today. Our ultimate goal is to ensure Evernorth's ability to grow is unconstrained by any limitations of our data.
The Data Management Strategy & Governance Quality Analyst conducts quality reviews to identify and resolve issues. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with developing and executing test plans, test scripts, and test cases, and documenting and reviewing test results and prioritizing defects with impacted partners. You will partner with peers to deliver healthcare data that meets the needs of compliance use cases in a rapidly shifting regulatory environment often subject to volatile scope changes. Success in this role requires an understanding of HL7 / FHIR Health Interoperability Standards, particularly implementation of FHIR Standards in the data governance space. As the Data Management Strategy & Governance Quality Analyst, you will play an active role in ensuring all enterprise data mapping follows FHIR or other specified Standards and participate in the testing of these mappings.
Must be a current contractor with Cigna, Express Scripts, or Evernorth. Evernorth is a new business within the Cigna Corporation. This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Data Management Strategy & Governance Lead, conduct quality reviews of mapping templates and mapping specifications against FHIR standards implementation guides and documented best practices
Develop test plans and test cases based on Business Use Case and mapping specifications, including identifying test data to support the test cases, and define the expected results
Participate in enterprise alignment meetings and scribe meeting highlights
Provide guidance to team members for compliance and following mapping best practices
Support integration and user acceptance testing, partnering with the Quality Engineering team to identify defects and prioritize +based on compliance risk
Participate in defining requirements, developing test plans and test execution for automation projects
Support internal and external audits
Qualifications
3+ years of experience with data analysis, data governance, data standards, and data quality
3+ years of experience working with healthcare data, healthcare terminology, concepts and business processes and systems. Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations
2+ years of experience with Advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL; JSON strongly preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Meticulous attention to detail.
Erwin DIS or equivalent mapping tool and source to target mapping experience is preferred
Working knowledge of HL7 / FHIR Standards and Health Interoperability Networks regulation data requirements is a huge plus
Sound understanding of SAFe Methodology and other Agile and non-Agile project management methodologies
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Data Analyst
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $89,800 - $149,600, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
