Job Summary:

The Data Services Manager is responsible for coordination and execution of the data strategies including the design, development, and management of data systems for the Indiana SPARK Project.

The Data Services Manager focuses on efficient and effective data governance; supports and works with the Director of Advance Solutions & Impact to collect, manage, analyze, and report data across the project.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Produces internal reports, policies and procedures, and other materials as needed

Manages data from multiple system and related databases

Develops and maintain documentation related to technology, databases and other project policies, procedures and practices

Analyzes system data in order to establish and implement quality improvement practices at the state and local level

Identifies and implements activities to meet departmental goals and objectives

Increases availability and use of formal documentation to support use of technology, databases, and project specific system policies, procedures and practices

Ensures staff collection of data are collected accurately, completely and within required timeframes

Increases use and availability of data and other reports to inform practices and to inform internal and external stakeholders

Communicates regularly with subject matter experts to ensure system policies, procedures, and practices, are reflective of programmatic needs, current research, and aligned with best practice standards

Performs variety of training, technical assistance, monitoring, and feedback activities associated to project outcomes and deliverables

Supports the Director of Advance Solutions & Impact as needed to ensure accomplishment of project department and organizational goals

Accomplishes organization and project goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Develops and manages data collection and management procedures,

Supports business development by contributing to start-up activities and on-going project support.

Provides strategic and operational recommendations to achieve project goals, efficient operations and service delivery, and new business opportunities.

Participates in assigned meetings, events and training as required

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Administration, Community Development, Social

Work or related field required. Masters degree preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing data from multiple systems required.

Exceptional written and verbal skills are required.

Spanish written and verbal skills are a plus.

Background checks are required for this position.

Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
