Responsibilities Reports to the Global Licensing Director, the Global Licensing Designer works in collaboration with other Design & Innovation team members to effectively oversee and assist with the development of licensing style guides, style guide supplements, seasonal trend/product inspiration guides and overall creative guidelines, some of which may include new graphic development and product mockups. They are also responsible for managing product approvals, product development, and design support for PepsiCo licensees. Successful candidates are great communicators and team players, with the ability to identify global trends within the retail and licensing landscape, that can be applied to the PepsiCo brand portfolio. They understand how to bring different departments together in order deliver desired outcomes. In addition to the above your responsibilities include: This position requires hands on design and presentation skills as well as an understanding of the Global Licensing/ Consumer Products industry as it pertains to retail marketing design, product development & approvals (across all development stages: concept, pre-production & production), retailer specific aesthetics and trends, with a solid business comprehension Responsible for executing, expanding, and upholding the established creative direction, and developing the graphic language for all PepsiCo Licensing specific initiatives and presentations globally Organize and manage existing repository of creative assets, retiring graphics as needed. Vet 3rd party creative agencies and freelancers as needed and negotiate fees & scope of work Prepare design briefs prior to kicking off major design projects Develop and manage an annual budget tied to the overall Global Licensing creative development agenda. Knowledge of design, marketing, and licensing trends to work collaboratively with other Global Design team members to create asset collections including, but not limited to: Global style guides, pitch materials, digital/social media-based marketing assets, art direction for photography and photoshoot, creative direction & assistance for communication platforms Lead in directing creative culture / fashion trends discussions Lead all creative kick offs for all new licensees and/or partnerships Properly communicate project design POV to internal, external partners and licensees Provide customized creative support to licensees, agents, and retailers as needed to ensure PepsiCo brands are portrayed in the best possible way at all times Function as the central point of contact on all Global Licensing creative matters for licensees, licensing agents, design resources and internal stakeholders based around the world. Create compelling and on-brand retail and Licensing statements that scale globally and reflect/enhance Brand design sensibility Establish and maintain a consistent cadence of asset sharing across the Global design team to ensure consistent design aesthetic is established and maintained Research & provide reports on global and domestic competitive markets to identify new and upcoming retail and experiential trends Build a strong partnership with Licensing, Design & Brand counterparts to assure company alignment COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment for this role. Please note that all such company vaccine requirements provide the opportunity to request an approved accommodation or exemption under applicable law. #LI-USA Qualifications 4+ years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years (recent) in a Design management role Proven experience as a designer, with a focus in CPG, Licensing and/or Brand Marketing Comfortability providing feedback and communicating internally and externally Compelling presentation & communication skills Strong project management skills Proven ability to multi-task, work in ambiguous and dynamic work environment Possess excellent interpersonal skills to deal with team members and clients effectively Ability to consistently meet goals and high productivity levels on projects as set by yourself and/or Department Manager, prioritizing the needs of the business. Able to work with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced Be organized and detail oriented.
