The Andersons, Inc is an agricultural supply chain company headquartered in Maumee, OH also having a large corporate presence in Overland Park, KS. We have many locations over the US and also serve global markets. Our company is celebrating our 75th year! We have a mix of traditional on-prem applications, with an eye to modernize where it will best serve our business. Some recent examples include using Azure Dev Ops, building CI/CD pipelines, and using PaaS services in Microsoft Azure. We recently started using Agile Scrum to deliver high visibility projects/products.
Position
This is an exciting opportunity to develop custom applications for The Anderson's trade business, working with a small team of developers and under the supervision of an App Dev Manager
Responsible for developing and supporting applications at the The Andersons, Inc custom application stack using the following technologies: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Windows Forms, Windows Services, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Web API's
Provide 3rd level development troubleshooting and support for production issues, and make recommendations for improving root cause issues
Develop ETL / ELT (Extract / Transform Load) and complex SQL Queries for data integration
Provide application development and support for multiple .NET/MV C websites including libraries and tools like jQuery, DevExpress, etc.
Provide application development for web service integrations using RESTful Web API's, JSON, XML, XSLT, Xpath
Configure Active Batch and/or Windows Scheduler for batch oriented integrations (SFTP, ETL Jobs)
Configure CI/CD build pipelines with Azure DevOps
Utilize Azure DevOps for User Story and Task burndown within Agile Scrum process, and for Source Control
Work collaboratively with a team of professionals utilizing Agile Scrum, Kanban, and/or Traditional (Waterfall) SDLC processes.
Collaborate with business analysts to understand problem statements, and provide input into solution design
Assist with new technology Proof-of-Concepts, provides recommendations for modernizing our applications and continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required
2+ years' experience developing and deploying internet and internal web applications required
2+ years' experience working in an Agile Scrum team required
2+ years' experience developing SQL Queries required
2+ years' experience as an .NET Developer in a medium size business
Experience working in the Ag Tech, Ag Supply Chain, or other Agricultural Industry referred
Experience developing windows forms applications preferred
Experience migrating .NET applications to Microsoft Azure PaaS preferred
Experience with Qlik, Power BI or other BI tool preferred
Experience integrating with SAP system and or / experience with SAP / ABAP development language a plus
Experience with mobile application development a plus
