Ordaos is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer either in New York City or remote to be a part of our ongoing mission to swiftly design bespoke mini-protein drugs to reduce development time and patient suffering. A successful DevOps engineer will support efficient development and delivery of future business requirements that enable application development and delivery. Primarily, this position will support exploration, evolution of architecture, and improvement of our overall infrastructure. This is a fully-remote position.

We are looking for individuals who are curious about innovation in drug discovery, agile in their approach to problem solving, and bold in the execution of their work.

SOME OF THE DAY-TO-DAY MAY INCLUDE:

• Applying your deep technical expertise to solve cloud-based solutions at scale

• Collaborating with Data Engineers, AI scientists, and the Chief Solutions Architect to define configuration and release management processes

• Managing the installation and configuration of solutions

• Collaborating with the rest of the engineering team and facilitating the relationships necessary to keep projects moving forward

Requirements

• BS, science, mathematics, or engineering related field

• Minimum 5 years of prior DevOps experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience of programming in languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, C++ or similar object-oriented language

• Well versed in Microsoft Azure CI/CD and compute platforms, including Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Pulumi, Python, Azure Machine Learning, GitHub and the Atlassian stack (Jira / Confluence)

• Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics

• Experience with supporting, developing and maintaining application Performance Management (APM) procedures

• Strong attention to detail

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
