We are working on next generation test automation framework to streamline development and validation processes for the GPU Software Engineering organization (delivering Intel Graphics).

In this position, you will partner with engineering teams to implement software automation solutions that will improve time to market for cutting edge products and impact the day-to-day lives of thousand engineers.

This position requires a diverse set of skills and will be part of a Global Engineering organization supporting next generation engineering innovations Who We Are We are a part of Intel Graphics Validation. We are responsible for delivering stable and reliable infrastructure for testing environment to validate a graphics driver. The testing environment consists of few thousand computers placed in our labs, hundreds of thousands of tests, dedicated schedulers that assigns tests to computers, programs that are running those tests and many more systems to analyze the results data. Our infrastructure delivers all assets required to perform the tests and collects all test results - that means terabytes of data and millions of results daily Who Are We Looking For We are looking for a continuous learner to help with managing infrastructure and providing stable hardware and software platform for our GPU validation process.

About the internship:  

Our internships are usually 12 - 24 months long and you’ll be with us part-time alongside your university degree. We ask that all applicants are current university students and will remain students during the length of our internship. Candidates must be based in Poland upon the start date of this internship and for its duration.

   

Work model for this role:

This role will be eligible for an on-site or hybrid work model. The hybrid model allows employees to split their time between working at the Intel site and remotely.




Qualifications


Student status is a must. Candidate must be pursuing a BS/MS degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer science, Electrical Engineering or any other related field.


We welcome applications from candidates with:

  • Fluent in English - reading, writing, speaking

  • General DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering knowledge (we are not looking for a developer)

  • Basic knowledge of Linux administration and network concepts (IP, TCP, DNS)

It would be an advantage if you had interest/knowledge and would like to develop your skills in: 

  • Configuration automation tools (Ansible/Puppet/SaltStack etc)

  • general public cloud knowledge (Azure preferred),

  • Docker/Kubernetes knowledge.
