**Job Description**


The Digital S/W Engineer Sr Analyst is a Technology/ Engineering role, a member of a SCRUM team developing/delivering Customers Banking/Credit Card Journey features on digital platforms with Browser, Mobile and tablet. This position will ensure customers of Citi products will be able to complete all digital activities for viewing accounts and applying for new Citi products. This role will be involved in all steps of the Agile SDLC process. This will include, but not limited to (a) conduct Requirements analysis: Grooming of user stories, Story pointing, decomposing big stories into smaller stories ensuring the stories are testable and able to go to production as an outcome of one sprint. (b) Review of design for screens, flows, features, and customer communications (emails, SMSs, notifications, PDF documents) and making sure those are consistent to the user story expectation. (c) Software development: Frontend (Browser, iOS and Android), headless components (APIs and Microservices) & integration of headless components with the front-end using and leveraging of two speed architecture. (d) Testing Artifacts: Providing and contributing to the test plans at the start of Sprint providing evidence in JIRA and providing details for the final project/features Exit reports. (e) Validations: Creating test scripts in either manual or automation. Executing test scripts, identify, triage, and fix any defects during release. Gather, condition, and maintain the test data in an enterprise wide intricately connected system. Automate and test scripts using BDD (Behavior Based Development). (f) Traceability: Responsible for reviewing and ensuring accurate and complete validations by employing tools like traceability matrix and other industry standard tools for ensuring no showstopper or high defects are released to production. Also, responsible for all ADA Accessibility validations to be compliant with ADA (Americans with Disability Act) Guidelines for all customer facing features. Ensure that accessibility is built as part of reviews of user stories, design artifact and sufficient coding and testing is carried out.


**Responsibilities**


* Actively participate in software development, integration, and E2E testing in a CI/CD environment Automating and enabling shift left.


* Continuously build/upgrade all documentation for digital features. Will be subject matter expert (SME) on functionality End to End (E2E) that are the responsibility of the scrum team.


* Owner of the BDD scripts (Web and Mobile), code development, and the manual/automated test scripts and data required.


* Perform analysis and research for root cause of coding and performance concerns as well as the resolution of defects in partnership with scrum team.


* Identify and implement processes & standards for continuous improvement of the applications, systems, and collaboration.


* Complete validations to show complete of user story criteria. Including ADA Accessibility using NVDA, Axe, CCA and other ADA tools.


* Track and review all user stories and defects to ensure all completed in JIRA prior to release.


* Participate in design discussions as such will play the part of a key decision maker in driving design decisions. This is evidenced by your knowledge of the application code details and your experience with the technology and teams engaged.


* Review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved mechanisms for visibility ensuring your program stays aligned with organization objectives.


* Collaborate with other teams and organizations to complete all tasks for digital features.


* Work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with both onshore and offshore located team members.


**Education, Qualification & Certifications**


* Minimum bachelors degree, preferred in computer engineering/ Science or Technology or Appropriate Science, Technology, Engineering or Management (STEM) disciplines.


* 5-8 years in a product development, management & quality engineering aspects of environment


* Knowledge and experience in Agile process an Agile Certified practitioner (ACP) Certification is preferred.


* Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills


* Experience with functional and API test automation, test script creation and modification required using test automation frameworks.


* Prefer experience in leadership role. Self-motivated and take ownership.


* Experience in using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and all Microsoft 365 applications.
