Samsung is in search for a Director of Home Entertainment (HE) Field Team Management. This leader plays an integral part within the Consumer Electronics Retail Operations (CERO) Team and reports directly to the Vice President / General Manager of the CERO Team. This is a Hybrid position; based out of our Ridgefield Park, N.J. Headquarters & within a commutable distance to this HQ location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the direct management of Regional Managers (RMs) and Market Sales Managers (MSMs) that oversee & drive the Retail Sales of our HE products at all retail locations.

• Ownership of all third party agency relationships that manage Samsung Electronics Americas (SEA) HE business.

• Develop expert level understanding of SEAs HE Go To Market plans.

• Communicates effectively to all constituents (internal & external customers) on relevant retail trends while developing retail field execution strategies & tactics.

• Directly manages a team of RMs and MSMs.

Skills and Qualifications

Necessary Skills / Attributes:

• Keen understanding of how Retail Storefronts & their Retail Labor teams operate

• An inspiring, thoughtful and authentic leader

• Financial acumen; understanding how to extract the most value from assigned budgets

• Proficient in analyzing both micro & macro trends

• Ability to effectively & simultaneously manage multiple projects, timelines & deployment of team members

• Adept at managing external agencies in matters of billing, proposals, negotiations & contracts

• Self-starter, Question asker with a continuous obsession over all the small details

• Experience in Tech is preferred

• 15+ years of job fit experience with a minimum of 5+ years of experience performing at the Director / VP level

• Advanced MS Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint & Word

• B.A. / B.S. degree required, Masters degree preferred
