KPMG is currently seeking a Director in the Technology Centers of Excellence/Strategy practice for our KPMG Strategy (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.


Responsibilities:


+ Serving as a key advisor and Technology Strategy leader, drive enterprise-wide Technology and M&A IT Due Diligence projects for Corporate and Private Equity clients

+ Help lead business development initiatives focused on IT and Business Technology Strategy including targeting key C- level individuals, proposing our services and closing opportunities

+ Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing strategic Technology roadmaps, manage key engagement interviews/research and facilitate workshops

+ Act as the primary Technology interface with various levels of client executives by partnering with business/technology leaders to help maximize the value of existing technology and deliver exceptional value with new technologies

+ Manage the presentation of final project deliverables and advise persuasively, earning the position of a trusted advisor

+ Participate in professional development of KPMG Strategy team members and assist with the recruiting and training of new staff


Qualifications:


+ A minimum of eight years in external consulting focused on M&A Technology and IT Due Diligence at a major strategy, boutique strategy, or Big 4 Strategy consulting firm with a spike in the one or more of the following key industries: Financial Services (in either Banking, Payments or Insurance), Chemicals (ESG, renewables, decarbonization) or Industrial Manufacturing (with ERP and/or FICO), including deep M&A Due Diligence and Integration/Separation experience

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Master's degree in Information Technology from an accredited college/university is preferred

+ Experience in at least one of the following strategy consulting areas from an Information Technology perspective in Financial Services (Banking, Payments or Insurance), Chemicals or Industrial Manufacturing: M&A transaction and business due diligence, operational and performance improvement, strategic growth, or other relevant strategy experience

+ Strong Information Technology and business acumen with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills; ability to understand how technology and business model decisions impact the technology operating model design/execution as it relates to operations, internal and external facing technology, risk governance and organizational design

+ Willing and able to travel as needed to serve clients
