The MarTech Program Director will lead and manage the execution of products, solutions, and projects associated with the MarTech COE portfolio ensuring that they remain aligned to the vision and objectives required for successful ongoing delivery of value-added digital offerings. The MarTech Program Director will empower Marketing colleagues with tools, processes, and knowledge to create outstanding experiences for our patients, health care professionals and other stakeholders.This role will drive the definition, creation, adoption, and use of Content creation, assembly, review, approval, publishing, and management tools for marketing, corporate, and medical colleagues.



In support of Agile transformation underway at Pfizer Digital, a major responsibility for the role is to support Agile Release Trains (ART) by steering them to success and navigating the complexity of delivering software consistently in large environments. Focus is to deliver value by managing program level processes, execution, and continuous improvement, as well as Release Train feature roadmaps and planning.Key responsibilities will include leading customer scoping discussions, prioritizing scrum stories and sprints, customer reviews and owning product support. Close collaboration with other program work stream leads will be critical. In addition, candidate may be called on to facilitate ART events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value by communicating regularly with key stakeholders, escalating impediments, helping manage risk, and driving continuous improvement.



Selected candidate will report into the MarTech COE Lead in the PPOC & MarTech organization in the Commercial Enablement and Market Facing Solutions Creation Center.



The Marketing Technology COE team is accountable for Pfizer Marketing Technology (MarTech stack) inclusive of Digital Platforms, Digital Channel Enablement, Content Integration, and Marketing/Marketer Tools. The MarTech COE provides the digital technology leadership, oversight, and accountability for the suite of tools leveraged by Pfizer's Digital Marketers and Agency Partners to provide great experiences to both internal clients and external customers. The MarTech COE partners with Marketing, Operations, Platform Engineering, Analytics, Security, Privacy, Compliance, Legal, and Support teams to ensure alignment on the governance decision making process and drive the implementation and adoption of a standard suite of marketing technology tools to maximize performance, re-use, and efficiency.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Direct and lead one or more large, complex, and global programs. Responsible for the program and project management aspects of one or more enterprise scale programs directing work stream leads and project managers assigned to the program through a matrix reporting relationship.

+ Direct and lead the colleague and consultant resources assigned to the Program through an indirect reporting relationship.

+ Accountable for the plans, schedules, resources, risks, communications, finances, reporting, stakeholder management, etc. as it relates to the execution of the services being created, offered, and enhanced.

+ Responsible for effectively managing the program financing, delivery and value realization of program execution and implementation.

+ Provide and maintain a clear articulation of vision, direction, and expectations to the team members.

+ Proven experience working and building relationships with senior business executives and leadership teams developing and delivering strategy and operating plans with demonstrated competency in strategic thinking, leadership, and relationship management.

+ Responsible for optimizing the flow of epics/features and the value delivered by an Agile Release Train (ART).

+ Coordinates and facilitates the ART ceremonies, manages dependencies across teams in the ART, and provides visibility into the health of epic/feature delivery and the overall program increment.

+ Ensures impediments to epic/feature delivery are resolved quickly and protects the teams from outside disruptions to delivery. Assists with resource planning.

+ Helps define norms/agreements for the ART and enforces the agreements. Coordinates and facilitates ART ceremonies - e.g., Backlog Refinement, Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART Sync (or PO Sync, Scrum of Scrums), System Demos, Inspect and Adapt.

+ In collaboration with the Product Manager, ensures the program has a healthy product/program backlog. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the ART.

+ Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration within the ART to support value delivery and PI commitments. Responsible for providing status updates and reporting pertaining to ART plans/delivery/timelines/impediments to stakeholders and leadership.

+ Ensures Enterprise Change Management and other policy requirements for technology solutions are met for the epics/features delivered by the ART.

+ Measures ART delivery, maturity, and performance and reviews the metrics with the ART to identify improvement opportunities.

+ Works with Agile coach and Agile champion to improve agile maturity.

+ Prepares annual budget (capex, opex) with input from appropriate Digital and Technology groups and other internal stakeholders.

+ Oversees launch and release planning and management.; tracks metrics and manages product lifecycle

+ Provides leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle.



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



The role requires a mix of technology skills and planning, organizing, collaboration and leadership skills.



+ Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science, business administration, engineering or technology management preferred with 10+ years related field and proven experience with emphasis on software, IT service development and maintenance.

+ 10+ years of progressive experience as a technical leader and/or program manager, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.

+ Overall knowledge of the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical markets globally. Broad knowledge of the key factors that influence the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical industry.

+ A preferred emphasis on software development or systems engineering experience. Substantial experience as an information technology professional in one or many roles such as a project manager, software developer, systems administrator, database administrator, systems engineer, computer engineer or support specialist.

+ Demonstrated progressive experience successfully project managing and delivering large IT business solutions for large-scale global organizations across multiple hardware and software platforms. Must have demonstrated competency / expertise in program execution leadership and project management.

+ Proven experience working with executive sponsors and senior business leadership teams developing and delivering strategy and operating plans with demonstrated competency in strategic thinking, leadership, and relationship management.

+ Recasting budget and priorities with a focus on program level value and return on investment (ROI).

+ Line management experience in a global organization with demonstrated career development and coaching expertise.

+ Experience with Performance management and resource management. Managing financial resources and staff to meet goals across multiple projects.

+ Experience with Agile development & leading Agile teams

+ Project management experience and proven track record of delivering digital, technology and analytics products/solutions for external and internal customers on time and on budget.

+ Strong financial and budget acumen.

+ Strong collaboration skills, with experience in bringing together cross functional teams to deliver complex digital, technology, analytics products. Strengths in problem solving and issue-resolution.

+ Excellent presentation and communications skills; ability to quickly gain credibility with senior management

+ Collaborate and navigate in a heavily matrixed environment

+ Ability to synthesize many ongoing complex requests and backlog to prioritize requirements, functions and features for greatest customer value.



**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Master's degree in Business, Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Technology

+ SAFe certifications (RTE, PO, SM etc.) and Project Management Professional accreditation.

+ Experiencewith IT service design & process, project management, and continuous improvement frameworks
