Participates in the planning, development and administration of hospital operations. Coordinates the resources of multiple departments to fulfill programmatic directions and goals including, but not limited to; the strategic priorities set by the Executive Leadership Team, throughput and efficiency, quality, service excellence, finance and related programs. Partners with management to design project plans requiring assessment, research and analysis. Manages the project management team to ensure the implementation of project plans and evaluates outcomes.

Job Responsibility

Coordinates administrative functions.Plans and supports development of various strategic initiatives for the associate executive director. \r
\r
Coordinates activities including developing goals and objectives, analytics and overall plan for achieving and sustaining outcomes related to the organizations strategic goals and objectives.
\r
\r
Prepares project assessment, analysis, reports and recommendations. \r
\r
Interfaces with management to collect financial, statistical and operational data for analysis.
\r
Conducts research, identifies industry standards and new innovative practices for analysis.
\r
Prepares operational analysis, flow charts, presentations and reports as required by project specifications.
\r
Evaluates analyses, identifies best practices, deficiencies, corrective actions and makes recommendations for improvements in operational processes, policies and procedures.
\r
Presents analysis and recommendations to management. Obtains feedback and collaborates with management to develop project improvement plans.
\r
Prepares financial analysis and identifies budgetary impact of proposed recommendations.
\r

Oversees daily operations and manages project management team for Lenox Hill Hospital and related areas. \r
\r
Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; and oversees the selection, development, management and evaluation of indirect reports.
\r
Applies new concepts and techniques to streamline operations and improve outcomes.Identifies and implements technology to improve operations when appropriate.
\r
Assigns and ensures work is carried-out.
\r
Acts as a liaison between the various stakeholders on defined projects to ensure outcomes are achieved.
\r
Works with administrative and clinical leadership to develop, implement operational improvement programs.
\r
Participates in the monitoring and evaluating programs performance using metrics.
\r
Structures the appropriate flow of data to insure timely and appropriate management of clinical and financial issues.
\r

Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification
\r
\r
Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
\r
Masters Degree in Business Administration, Health Services, Finance or related field, preferred.
\r
Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible healthcare administration experienceand 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
\r
