Northrop Grumman Space Systems sector, located in Manhattan Beach, California, is seeking a motivated candidate to join the Electronics and Payloads Directorate. The selected candidate will become a Principal Engineer ASIC. The qualified applicant will work on implementation and verification of digital logic for space applications.

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Develop FPGA architecture based on requirements

Develop VHDL design of ASIC and/or FPGA logic

Perform verification via simulation and emulation (lab testing), synthesis, timing analysis, logic equivalency check

Develop verification plan and verification test bench using VHDL or System Verilog

Trace requirement, and perform review and audits on the simulation test procedures and test environment

**Basic Qualifications:**
- STEM Bachelors degree from an accredited institution with 2+ years of experience in digital design

- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an active Government clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Hands-on lab experience with testing of digital hardware is highly desired

- Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP)

- Active DoD Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $90,600.00 - $136,000.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
