The Role:
The Engineering Manager will play a critical role in the success of the Ticket Ad Network. This line manager role will lead the technical deployment of the Ticket Ad Network, from design through engineering development, owning the development and design of entire application and integration components. This person will work with a large variety of technologies and will be part of a dedicated Ticket Ad Network team that will integrate with the larger Ticketmaster technical organization to ensure the full end to end delivery of new functionalities, including testing and production support.

Responsibilities:
Use your technology acumen to apply and maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies within specialized area(s) of the technology domain
Evaluate new technologies and participates in decision-making, accounting for several factors such as viability within Live Nations technical environments, maintainability, and cost of ownership. Initiate and execute research and proof-of-concept activities for new technologies
In complex and unstructured situations, serve as an expert resource to create and improve standards and best practices to ensure high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure deliverables
Lead the design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of services
Lead and conduct code review, design review, testing, and debugging activities at the application level. Lead functional design and architecture discussions with understanding of process flows and system diagrams to enable design decisions
Consistently deliver code that sets the standard for quality and maintainability
Write highly insightful, comprehensive code reviews
Participate in routine and non-routine construction, automation, and implementation activities, ensuring successful implementation with architectural and operational requirements and best practices met
Provide technical oversight and coach others to resolve complex and severe technical issues
Embed data quality protocols throughout data acquisition, processing, storage, and operational use
Desired Skills and Experience
5+ years of development experience, including experience in implementing and maintaining software
1+ years of experience in application and data pipeline development
1+ years experience working with volume and variety of data in a production environment
1+ years experience in developing software applications
Degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or other related discipline
Demonstrated success in working with a cross-functional team including engineers, other product management teams, and sales/client service
COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions.
