Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Bridge Engineer to be based in Columbus, OH.
This position is expected to begin in Dec 2022.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
Prepare engineering-related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
Willing to travel as needed for bridge inspection work.
Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in Structural or Civil engineering or other related field required
Preferred Qualifications
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Mathcad, MicroStation or AutoCAD software and be familiar with at least one structural analysis software package
Basic knowledge of some industry-standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as LEAP, MicroStation, MathCAD, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models)
Willingness to travel (if and when required)
Previous intern/coop/work experience in bridge design is preferred
