The Boeing Information Technology & Data Analytics organization is seeking an **Experienced Developer (DevSecOps) Specialist.**


In this role, you will be working on the **Enterprise DevSecOps** project where we partner with our **Software Engineering team to deploy a Software Development Toolchain in the AWS Gov Cloud.** We seek talented individuals to assist in the design and implementation of our cloud solution, developing and maintaining **Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)** workflows for system build, test and deploy. We are a fast-paced agile team and are interested in candidates who have proven skills in DevSecOps, Cloud environments, software development and system automation.

**Position Responsibilities:**


+ Performs analysis and design activities to install, configure and maintain infrastructure software and components in cloud platforms

+ Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

+ Implement Configuration as Code (CaC)

+ Performs activities to ensure alignment of use cases and objectives with architecture and security

+ Executes against defined guidelines and best practices for cloud-oriented development & implementations

+ Provides guidance and direction to junior level cloud developers and administrators

+ Troubleshoots application deployment issues

+ Research/analyze issues (such as application integration, performance etc.) and provide recommendations and resolution as needed


**This position allows telecommuting. The sleeted candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.**


**Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):**


+ 1+ years of experience with AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud

+ 1+ years of experience with automation and provisioning of cloud environments

+ 2+ years of experience utilizing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)


**This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.** An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.


**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**


+ 2 plus years hands on experience using Terraform

+ 2 plus years hand on experience using Ansible for Configuration as Code

+ AWS Certification (Certified Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate)

+ Experience in deploying, administering, maintaining and upgrading one or more of these applications: Atlassian Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Coverity, Smartbear Code Collaborator or JFrog Artifactory

+ Education or experience with the Linux OS

+ Hands on experience in AWS services e.g. VPC, IAM, EC2, Auto-scaling, ELB, ECR, S3, DynamoDB, Postgres (RDS), Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS, VPC, Route 53, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, AWS Config, Cloudtrail, AWS Developer Tools etc.

+ Experience implementing AWS solutions design and deployment of enterprise-scale applications

+ Experience developing guidelines and best practices for cloud-oriented development & implementations including containers and container orchestration

+ Define and enforce AWS Well-Architected pillars: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization

+ Provide expertise and best practices for implementing cloud security and product security


**Typical Education/Experience:**


**Experienced (Level 3)**


Technical bachelors degree and typically 5 or more years related work experience or a Masters degree with typically 3 or more years or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.


**Senior (Level 4)**


Technical bachelors degree and typically 9 or more years related work experience or a Masters degree with typically 7 or more years or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Salary Range: $97,750-$170,200**
