We are looking to hire a Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities Team.

In this role you will be responsible for:
Performs basic maintenance, cleaning and organization; orders and organizes supplies
Perform routine equipment maintenance and repair
Makes periodic or special inspections of equipment, utilities, and premises to determine repair work necessary; reports issues to facilities manager
Aids in the proper handling of all manufacturing chemicals and products. Supports warehouse duties such as: physical loading, unloading and/or sorting of packages of varying sizes and weights by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, placing packages, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and efficient manner
Provide supervision and direction to external service providers performing work on site
Assists with setting up offices or meeting rooms for new personnel, meetings and special events; moves furniture, sets up equipment, and arranges signs, displays or decorations
Provides other miscellaneous facilities support as assigned
May assist with deliveries of materials or packages
Returns damaged or wrong products with the help from Purchasing
Assists Purchasing in resolving deliveries discrepancies
Completes facility requests, provides aid to facilities mechanic/engineer for daily duties
To be successful in this role your background and experience should include:
1-3 years experience working as Facilities technician, or Facilities maintenance, Production technician or a closely related field
Proficient with MS Office Suite and Coupa
Demonstrated ability with detail-oriented work in a fast paced collaborative environment
Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety guidelines and work in a safe manner
Demonstrated ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
Demonstrated ability in independence and critical thinking
