Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business and have signicant impact across the lifecycle of a trade. We partner extensively with a range of internal stakeholders including Front Oce Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance and HR; alongside having signicant interaction with our external client base, playing a key role in the overall client experience. We have a Client relationship group, dedicated to overseeing the Organizational service performance and strategic partnership for our top tier client base, where we play a key role in supporting our global clients to ensure they have a rst-class experience when doing business with Citi.


Our Business Intelligence and Process Re-engineering group works alongside our Operations teams delivering automation solutions to solve for operational challenges. We partner with Citis innovation labs to drive optimization, and overall play a pivotal role in enabling us to transform to achieve our target operating model.


Our Technology partners develop and implement a wide range of applications that support the Operations, Change, Design and Implementation groups in providing innovative products and solutions. We have re-imagined how to provide technology and service in our domain through the alignment of our team vision, culture, and aggressive retirement plan for legacy applications and adoption of a micro-based containerized cloud environment. **Overview** :


Entry level role with an opportunity to sit on the NY Trading desk and assist the traders with Operational transactions in order to effectively serve our clients in support of the Futures Clearing (FCX) business. Ensuring Futures transactions are allocated and cleared accurately and timely in a culture and environment where processes, risks and controls are continuously monitored, and operational risks are escalated on a timely basis. Coordinating communication and transaction instructions between the trading desk and clearing team. Ensuring the infrastructure and tools are in place to effectively manage risk and service our clients to a high standard.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Monitor and ensure Futures transactions are cleared correctly and are compliant with internal policies and controls

+ Assist in the investigation, documentation and corrective implementation of all required transaction issues

+ Aid with the analysis, execution, and stabilization efforts of critical operations functions related to futures clearing

+ Anticipate and proactively respond to requests for deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors

+ Assist as required for control, risk, daily activities, and transaction services project

+ Evaluate moderately complex issues with substantial potential client impact

+ Cross-train for various internal roles within the department, and provide back-up coverage for those roles as needed

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


**Qualifications and Skills:**


+ BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience preferred

+ 0-3 years in a related role in finance or operations

+ Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a leader who can positively and productively add product impact to both strategic and tactical technology

+ Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise, with the ability to communicate clearly regarding advanced topics and escalate situations when appropriate Strong risk management and control mindset

+ Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations; draws on diverse range of internal and external sources

+ Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented

+ Proven experience working within a team environment

+ Ability to establish and build trust with professionals throughout the business as an advisor and business partner to the organization with a clear client orientation.

+ Strong awareness of both external and internal best practice perspectives, maintaining a balanced and fresh viewpoint.

+ Ability to conceptualize aspects of the organizations model and its future development.


**Education:**


+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
