Job Summary:
Talent Buyer Assistant & Artist Marketing Manager for Gov Ball and Sound On Sound Music Festivals: Founders Entertainment is currently looking for a Talent Buyer Assistant & Artist Marketing Manager to join their team! Responsibilities include working with agents, bands, clubs, and festival/event venues to arrange for shows and performances, as well as overseeing artist marketing for the events we produce or as hired by third parties.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage calendar of meetings and calls for Partner throughout the year
Review festival artist contracts, mark-up accordingly, and work with Partner & legal to address. Communicate with Festival Director and Production Director on artist production buyouts, bill backs via shared tracking doc.
Research and track audience and artist trends as it relates to live performance. Communicate with Festival Director and FE team members as appropriate (patron / fan behavioral trends, artist performance habits, security needs etc.)
Support Partner with Admin/calendar/meeting/travel set up
Compile and organize artist submissions for events
Compile and organize artist offers (pending/confirms/passes/etc)
Compile and organize contracts and deposits via tracking doc
Work with C3 and Partner to monitor agency festival contracts and addendums
Compile, organize, and manage pre-show/after show calendars for fests and share them with Founders team
Track payments from co-promoters for side/pre/after shows and communicate with accounting
Cover shows on Partner's behalf when unable to attend
Scout talent and interface with agents, management, etc.
Handle AMEX statement and receipt/coding procurement for Partner
Oversee Artist Marketing for Founders festivals and events
Communicate with Marketing Team on all artist updates / areas of interest
Coordinate social posts, compile recaps of social efforts
Ensure artists have listed and posted GB on their sites/platforms
Work on email inclusion in artist emails
Brainstorm artist focused promotions for Founders events and oversee them from ideas to fruition
Manage Founders Team Member internal guest list approval and ticket/pass issuance
Ensure requests are approved by a Partner
Make sure charity fees are collected when needed
Other duties and projects as assigned
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
2+ years experience in talent booking or related field
Experience in all aspects of producing a show (i.e. marketing, production, settlement, and buying)
Ability to understand the financial aspects of producing the show
Interested and enthusiastic about music, including extensive knowledge of national music scene in order to create successful festivals, as well as provide solid support
Integrity in the way you operate day-to-day business and the way you deal with people

Proficient in MS Excel and Word
Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
