The Engineering Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for the development of web portals for our shared data services offerings. This role will work closely with Citi engineering and architecture teams to create an appealing, efficient and consistent visual language for browsing, requesting, onboarding and using shared data services. The core responsibilities will include providing design leadership and implementation for our next generation of service offerings, and to implement agile application development with reusable application libraries and services. Ideal candidates will be able to think holistically about or application suite, contributing ideas to back-end teams while focusing on the UI framework.


Responsibilities:


Architect and develop web-portal including browsable data catalog and user onboarding.


Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.


Collaborate with application and engineering teams to develop strategic frameworks and coordinate changes across the full stack.


Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.


Integrate data from various back-end services and data sources.


Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.


Qualifications:


6+ years application web development experience with core languages including Javascript, Java, typescript etc. with three or more of the following:


Strong experience developing web UIs with microservices backends


Strong experience with a modern web framework (Angular, React, Vue, etc.)


A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices


Strong experience working with Data Models UML modeling


Experience with web-sockets is a plus
