GIS Analyst
Sidwell is seeking a GIS Analyst to join our professional services team to deliver our world class GIS solutions!
As a GIS Analyst, you will join our professional services team as an important member assisting in the development and deployment of our GIS solutions to our customer base. This position will encourage collaboration and inspire innovation to develop and deliver solutions for our local government clients. Sidwell is committed to providing our customers with the most encompassing GIS solutions in the industry.
The GIS Analyst responsibilities will include configuring Sidwell and Esri technologies and solutions, working with customers to help identify areas for GIS growth and expansion, solving complex problems with creative GIS resolutions. This position will also collaborate extensively with our Research and Development team as well as our sales department to assist in providing demonstrations and discovery sessions to and with our customers.
A deep understanding of Esri technology, solutions and concepts is required and a comprehensive understanding of local government workflows and practices is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Implementation and management of GIS projects as part of the analyst team
Implementation of Esri technology
Implementation of Sidwell technology (Esri-based solutions)
Work collaboratively and effectively within all areas of the Sidwell organization
Customer engagement
Training on Esri and Sidwell solutions
Assisting with business development opportunities as necessary
Working under the direction of the GIS Manger of Solutions and Support to understand, document, and implement the latest Esri technologies and solutions
Continuous communication with customers to ensure project tasks are completed
Bi-monthly forecasting and reporting on assigned projects and tasks
Must understand the financial implications of project forecasting

Qualifications
3+ years of parcel mapping, legal description and/or surveying experience
Esri parcel fabric experience
5+ years ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Enterprise experience
Experience in training others with the ability to effectively transfer technical knowledge related to parcel mapping and workflows
Has an understanding of geodatabases and administration
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server as it relates to GIS databases and views
5+ years working within a team to meet monthly goals
Self-motivated who exhibits a sense of urgency to complete tasks
Proven success in understanding various technologies and concepts utilized by local governments
Communication, presentation, follow-up, and relationship building abilities
Willing to travel if needed
Able to work remotely
Bonus Qualifications
Has proven experience in working with parcels and/or the parcel fabric within a local government setting
Knowledge of addressing workflows and solutions
Experience in writing technical documentation
