**Job Description Summary**

Aero Alliance is a Joint Venture that serves three segments of customers its two parent companies, Baker Hughes, and GE Power, as well as the Authorized Service Providers (ASP) network. At Aero Alliance, our purpose is to deliver improved product, repair and execution, strategy and fulfillment with best-in-class quality, speed, and cost for the JV Partners and ASPs.



The Global Lean Leader will serve as a faciliatory, educator, advocate, consultant, and accountability partner to the business by driving the understanding and application of Lean principles and tools. You will partner closely with all functions to drive business performance improvements by defining, developing, and implementing lean improvement projects.



**Job Description**



In the role, you will:



+ Drive the Aero Alliance cultural brand across the business while achieving EHS, Quality, and Business objectives.

+ Collaborate with the teams to assess Aero Alliance value streams, processes, and practices as compared to lean company benchmarks, both internal and external.

+ Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and non-value-added actions along with areas that lend themselves to automation and the removal of manual effort activities on prioritized processes and projects.

+ Use best practice lean tools such as, but not limited to, Kanban, JIT, Kitset delivery and vendor managed inventory, to help drive efficiency and cost saving to operations.

+ Drive TAT reduction strategic initiatives by developing new process capabilities based on lean principles.

+ Design and build organization lean capacity to coach and mentor employees on Lean methodology while driving the cultural adoption of Lean as an operating enabler.

+ Identify and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing Lean initiatives to track project progress effectively and transparently.



**Qualifications/Requirements**



+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field from an accredited college or University

+ Minimum 5 years of experience leading Lean in manufacturing or supply chain logistics.

+ Black Belt Certification



**Desired Characteristics**



+ Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field

+ Change agent, able to make the case for Lean and demonstrate immediate impact.

+ Highly collaborative person, comfortable with conflict and debate normally associated with change.

+ Critical thinker with the ability to bring others along, even those with conflicting priorities.

+ Impactful communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels in the organization.

+ Demonstrated ability in solving complex problems and transforming results and process through the application of Lean techniques.

+ Lean practitioner, capable of facilitating Kaizen events and coaching the core tools such as Daily Visual Management, Structured Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work and Transactional Process Improvement.

+ Experience driving enterprise-wide transformation preferably in a major turn-around. The ideal candidate has been through complex change and tough situations; bringing a will to win with strong followership.

+ Proven to be effective driving outcomes in large, matrixed organizations understands how to navigate geographies, cultures, relationships, etc. Can drive work around the world because they are accountable, trustworthy, credible, committed, and intellectually agile.

+ Knowledgeable in repair processes, procedures, and planning in Aeroderivative, Oil and Gas and/or Energy industries.
