As a Global Technology Governance Program Associate, you will be supporting a team with an expansive remit and will be responsible for facilitating efforts across LOBs/CFs and the broader team to drive key initiatives. This role requires someone who is very adaptable, able, and eager to learn and apply business and technical knowledge, and able to articulate key ideas and develop executive level materials. A successful candidate will be self-driven, able to work under pressure to deliver on-time with high quality, and able to adapt within a changing environment.
Key responsibilities:
Support the Governance Management Team on the development of initiatives in line with the firm™s Governance strategy
Spearhead governance forums with key stakeholders including the development of documents to socialize strategy, new initiatives, or programs
Partner with the extended Governance Management Team, and Line of Business/Corporate Function Leads, to drive efforts to enhance Governance
Conduct research, collect, and analyze data as requested by the team and/or senior management
Stay informed of regulatory and industry developments impacting data risks/governance/management
Support senior management, regulatory and/or internal audit requests
Experience and Skills Requirements:
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented, highly responsible, and able to work under tight deadlines
Ability to work autonomously with discipline
Willingness to work hybrid schedule: 2 days from home and 3 days in the office
Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable working with people at all levels and across functional areas
Consultative mindset, problem-solving skills and behaviors
Ability to assess current state and understand where you can play a role to drive efforts forward
Experience writing documents for senior audiences
Experience analyzing data and communicating key concepts and observations to stakeholders
Experience managing day-to-day project activities and coordination with multiple stakeholders
Experience in risk management or data management preferred but not required
Advanced Microsoft Office skills; particularly PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel
Minimum four (4) years of experience in financial services supporting broad initiatives
Bachelor™s degree in related areas: Business, Data or Technology preferred
