**Job Description Summary**

The HL7 Integration Engineer Services for GE Healthcare is responsible for the implementation of HL7 Interfaces for GEHC-IT Centricity Perinatal and Mural L&D Systems products in the LCS product line, providing technical direction to the team on systems integration.



The Integration Engineer should embrace cross-functional cooperation with other teams in Systems Integration and IT Professional Services to provide seamless project implementations in support of customer integration requirements and work with team members to identify and resolve customer satisfaction issues related to integration.



In addition, the Integration Engineer shall provide integration consulting for the implementation of GE Healthcare IT Centricity product suite. Duties may include HL7 integration, Centricity Clinical Gateway integration and providing technical direction to the team on systems integration

**Job Description**



**Responsibilities**



+ Design, configure, implement, and test interfaces for GEHC-IT Clinical Systems products.

+ Work directly with external customers and third party EMR vendors on the development of system interfaces utilizing interface specifications that describe how the interface will work and the layout of the messages to be used.

+ Execute implementations with team approach, working with GEHC Project Manager, Clinical Configuration Specialist and Technical Installation Coordinator to deliver projects on time and in scope.

+ Provide after hours and weekend go-live support as needed to support business requirements.

+ Follow internal quality processes to perform integration tasks and document interface configuration and functionality to meet regulatory requirements.

+ Assist technical and clinical support teams to identify and resolve production interface issues reported by customer or internal teams.

+ Maintain Customer Management System documentation and incident reporting per internal quality processes to meet regulatory requirements.

+ Develop and improve interface tools and implementation processes and services offerings.

+ Design and conduct technical training courses for internal teams and/or customers, utilizing SME input from cross-functional teams to ensure course materials reflect current product features and functionality.

+ Assist sales and marketing teams with product demonstrations, RFPs, and technical input.

+ Assist engineering teams with product development/enhancement, RFPs and technical input.



**Qualifications**



+ AS Degree in Computer Science and/or General Business and/or 7 years of relevant experience in this domain

+ Level I Cloverleaf Certified and/or a minimum of 3 years HL7 experience

+ Basic Networking Experience

+ Candidate must be willing and able to work with computers including the following applications: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio.

+ Windows Server Experience

+ TCL, VB Script, XML or related programming experience

+ Available for periodic travel



Desired Skills



+ BS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering/Technical Disciplines

+ Level II/III Cloverleaf Certified

+ Experience/Certifications in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, JSON

+ HL7 Certified

+ Microsoft SQL or Microsoft Access

+ Experience with multiple Interface Engines: Cloverleaf / Rhapsody / Mirth

+ Experience with EMR vendor systems

The salary range for this position is $104,000 to $187,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a variable incentive compensation bonus. Available benefits include health, welfare, retirement and paid leave.
