The Institutional Credit Management (ICM) group is seeking an experienced Product Management professional, focused on Business Intelligence. This person will work closely with the front office and technology on multiple fronts to help execute strategic goals by developing reports, dashboards and tactical, rapid development tools, which often bridge the gap to strategic, target state projects.
ICM has been established with the objective to provide an integrated end-to-end credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management and monitoring for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise.
The function is responsible for extensive partnering across all relevant businesses within the Institutional Clients Group (ICG), as well as various support functions to drive key initiatives and associated deliverables for the data strategy and manage change with the right governance framework.
**_Job Responsibilities:_**
- Identify areas for improvement by listening to front office users and their management teams; prototype solutions and develop business requirements
- Continuously learn from and partner with business management and technology partners to identify opportunities to incrementally deliver business value through tactical tools
- Create prototypes for analytical tools that will later be productionized by ICG technology
- Partner with internal organizations to optimize our reporting infrastructure and improve cross functional workflows, feeds and reporting
- Collaborate with technology counterparts to define requirements and ensure proper governance over applications development, testing and releases
- Follows market, industry and client trends to own field and adapts them for application Citis products and solutions platforms
- Develops plans, prioritizes, coordinates design and delivery of products or features to product release, and serves as product ambassador within user community
- Provide user training, solicit feedback and drive systems adoption
Respond to ad-hoc data requests and provide reporting as needed
- Mentors/Leads junior product managers on best technical and business practices
**_Required Skills and Qualifications_**
- Candidate is required to have a BA/BS, Master's degree preferred
- 8+ years experience in project management, technology or business consulting. Front office experience preferred
- Proficient knowledge of data modeling and relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB and Hive
- Proficient knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Visual Basic, and/or R
- Working knowledge in developing BI reporting tools and dashboards in QlikView or Tableau
- Knowledge of financial markets
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines with changing priorities
- Must be a team player; must be able to contribute and foster ideas within the team
- Must be passionate about technology and innovation within the financial services industry
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask under tight deadlines
**_Preferred Skills and Qualifications_**
- Front office experience or interest in Wholesale Credit or Lending
- Knowledge of systems engineering or database administration
