Job Title: Oil Filtration Operator

Reports to Job Title: Production/ Sanitation Supervisor

Runs and troubleshoots oil system. Safely and effectively uses Cold Jet. (50%)
Takes lead in filling roasters with the appropriate oil for the upcoming days usage. Informs supervisor of filtration problems that are encountered with specialty and regular cooking oils. (20%)
Responsible for the unloading of bulk oil tankers. Records and identifies safety/GMP issues with incoming oil such as contaminated oil, foreign material, and product equipment sealing. Operates machinery such as: high pressure washers, wash cabinets, cop tank, walkers, walker stackers, electric pallet jacks, scissor lifts, standup and sit-down forklifts. May work at heights of up to 40 feet while performing duties. (10%)
Works as a member of the production team to assist with the purification and sanitation of used cooking oil. Uses the following tools: broom, brushes, sprays bottles, mop and ringer, squeegee, water gun, air gun and vacuum. (10%)
Completes log records of tasks completed. (5%)
Maintains work area and ensures area is clean before leaving for the day. (5%)
Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
Aware and accountable in maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.
Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.
Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.
Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.

Power rider, sit down, and stand-up forklift driving certification required
Ability to understand and speak English
