Shift Monday – Friday; 40 hours a week Job Summary The Institute for Biomedical Informatics is a seeking an Information Technology Manager III. This position is accountable for providing framework, governance, and decision making to ensure ongoing viability of data architecture and uses of appropriate technologies on collaboration with other Office Managers and stakeholders. This includes developing and documenting data models in support of analytics data quality management as well as managing data pipelines. The role also facilitates data and reporting requirements and investigates new opportunities to acquire data for use in enterprise decision making.

The Information Technology Manager III is responsible for coordinating projects that span across multiple agencies and with other IT professionals both within and outside UK on new projects. This role will also contribute to the leadership of the unit by being a member of the Senior Management Team which includes Network & Technology Admin Support, Project Management Office, Application Development, and Data Integration.

This position will manage the acquisition, manipulation and integration of high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources; work with external agencies to generate new business opportunities for the unit; and lead market analysis and innovation, driving the team to generate new ideas and business streams to grow the business and enhance the unit’s reputation.

This position is located in Frankfort, KY, but will follow a hybrid schedule.
