Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations seeks a customer-focused Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team seated in Munich, Germany. As an Infrastructure and Operations Support team member, you will provide advanced administration, maintenance and support of physical and virtual computing environments in Munich and the wider EMEA. This position works closely with other Infrastructure, Security, Application Specialists and Business Partners to implement, monitor and maintain A&M's Forensic Technology environments.
The Infrastructure Support Specialist has the following responsibilities:
Deploy, administer, and support servers and applications in our forensic hosting environments.
Solve technical challenges and tasks with automation using PowerShell and scripting.
Contribute by writing and maintaining documentation for technical and non-technical audiences, including network, systems, and disaster recovery documentation.
Provide local technical support to end-users as appropriate.
Coordinate, collaborate and frequently communicate with local 3rd party IT service providers.
Follow established change control, ticket handling, and incident management processes.
Required Skills:
Minimum 5+ years of progressive IT administration and support experience.
Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Server 2016-2019, Microsoft SQL Server 2017-2019, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and related technologies.
Experience using PowerShell to query, automate, and troubleshoot.
Virtualization technologies (vSphere/vCenter and Microsoft Hyper-V).
Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Nagios, Slunk).
Working experience with current enterprise data centre operations.
Familiarity with industry-standard security processes and procedures, including ISO/IEC 27001
Other Requirements:

Technically curious, analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving, investigation, and diagnostic skills.
