Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to join our team and be responsible for managing the transactional customers for all auto catalyst, chemical catalyst, and Precious Metal Catalyst (PMC) in North America. In this role, your efforts will be focused on commercial operations as well as managing the day-to-day commercial activities to ensure. Your duties will also be balanced between maintaining accounts and assisting in commercial support activities such as organizing tradeshows, maintaining proper internal controls, and managing pricing activities. Additionally, your solid line reporting will be to the North American Sales Manager.
Travel for this position might be up to 10% of the time.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your previous experience within the catalyst business in a customer facing role, you will closely manage the sales operations for the North American commercial team.
Relying upon your experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, MS Office and Ability to manage credit and AR activities, you will utilize CRM tool to provide transparency on sales activities related to all opportunities.
Displaying your ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously, you will monitor internal, and customer needs to ensure optimal delivery reliability and customer satisfaction is critical.
Your team orientation will serve you well, as you collaborate with the Sales and Technical teams to develop broad knowledge of the Chemical Catalysts, Auto Catalyst, and Precious Metal Chemical businesses.
Demonstrating your experience managing sales forecasts, you will achieve short term sales results by engaging with identified transactional customers.
Your ability to self-motivate will be essential as you quickly develop a broad working knowledge of the BASF offered products, services, and the value propositions, as the customers may be somewhat fragmented across several niche markets.
Utilizing your exceptional interpersonal skills, you will assist with external customer events and activities
