**Instructional Designer (Canvas) Remote**
**Duration: 6 months contract with a possible extension**
**Job Duties/Functions:**
+ Works on instructional design course projects and program initiatives of moderate scope and complexity.
+ Design and deploy instructional content for online and hybrid implementation, create interactive media content, and build content modules in various learning systems and platforms using a variety of software applications in support of high school programs.
+ Review content and tools to meet ADA requirements in accordance with defined standards.
**Required Qualifications/Skills:**
+ Thorough knowledge and experience of instructional/multimedia design and understanding of how work within a course impacts diverse student populations and their learning outcomes.
+ Thorough attention to detail and analytical skills; ability to conduct comprehensive instructional analyses and develop clear, actionable recommendations. Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.
+ Thorough experience applying instructional design principles and learning strategies in course design/development projects, including learning outcome and assessment design, and LMS design/deployment.
+ Skills in Canvas LMS and Google Suite required. Experience with graphic and UX design tools (DesignPLUS) preferred.
