Job Summary
KinderCare's Quality Assurance team is looking for a QA II to help drive quality initiatives around billing and payment products. This is a new, fast-paced, Agile team working super collaboratively with a fun and friendly delivery team. In this role, you'll bring test planning and execution expertise to the team and pair with another QA to help ensure successful delivery of sprint work with two different technology sets. KinderCare is investing in its tuition/billing front end system, its technology and its frameworks to remain at the forefront of the technology curve - to that end, we are looking for someone to help deliver quality in the fastest, most measurable way. You'll do standard definition and execution of test plans, assist with definition of test automation, communicate risk, and report status and results. But you'll also get immersed in behavior-driven testing, GWT testcase definition, and a new DevOps organization implementing the latest technologies to keep us on top of Early Childhood Education across the spectrum!
Key responsibilities include:
Plan/Develop/Improve existing tests to support UI testing
Creation, review and execution of Test Plans, Test Cases
Working closely with other QA team members to identify gaps and opportunities with current test activities
Utilize and maintain solid root cause analysis skills
Communication and cooperation with Developers on test executions, results analysis
Managing personal time, test schedules and strategies in accordance with sprint scope and deadlines
Qualifications
4 years' experience working in an Agile, Windows-based quality engineering role
Experience with billing systems or payment process review and testing
Familiarity with:
IIS and webservice testing methodology
SDLC, Quality Standards, Best Practices
Behavior-driven testing techniques
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with team members
Strong discipline for self-education in QA/QE field
Ability to effectively assess, analyze, and communicate risk
Strong critical thinking skills
Ability to reliably estimate effort
Bonus skills and experience:
Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Familiarity with Kendo UI
Experience working with JIRA and Zephyr for JIRA
Gherkin/specflow familiarity
MS PowerShell or Playwright experience
