Job Description
As an Application Developer for the Wholesale Loan Technology team, you will be working on the build out of the Wholesale Loan Technology applications.
The job involves working in an Agile / Scrum feature team as a developer and implement technical solutions using JAVA functionalities having knowledge on Loan IQ SDK functionalities is good to have & implement them efficiently, interact with the business users, product owners or SMEs for requirements, and liaise with the admin or Operate team for production release or post production support.
Specifically the role requires you to:
Design, analyze, develop, test, debug, and model the system components necessary to produce potentially shippable product iterations with each sprint.
Deliver high quality code that complies with standards and satisfies architectural tests.
Perform pair programming and assist the team in supporting the application in all required environments.
Participate in product backlog prioritization, story mapping, and story splitting activities.
Prepare and lead sprint review meetings showcasing completed product backlog items to the product owner and subject matter experts.
Proactively look to develop and implement best practices across the entire project team, practicing continuous process improvement.
Collaborate face to face and virtually with the Product Owner, Operations and Technology partners around the world.
Should be able to develop, debug, test, implement and design projects to bring efficiency to the application.
Deliver high quality code, on time and within budget, based on original scope and requirements.
Perform code reviews and assist the team in supporting the application in all required environments.
Partner with the Project Managers, Product Owners, SME's and Business Analysts to develop project estimates
Proactively look to develop and implement best practices across the entire project team.
Regularly interact with Operations and Technology partners located around the world including, Chicago, New York, Delaware, Singapore, Mumbai and Bangalore.
Provide status reports and written feedback on progress made
Experience utilizing Agile Development methodology
Required Skills:
Bachelors or Master™s Degree - preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science
5+ years of hands-on programming/application development experience utilizing JAVA/J2EE, Spring, SpringBoot, Agile, DevOps and TDD.
Proficient Core JAVA (w/ Java11 Features) skills having deep experience in OOAD, Threads & Concurrency and Collections
Strong experience utilizing standalone Spring Framework integration
Experience with SpringBoot
Experience with messaging brokers like IBM MQ and Kafka
Good SQL/PL-SQL Skills (Oracle 19 Preferred) and ORM Frameworks like Hibernate/MyBatis/JPA
Experience with Tomcat, Apache, and Maven
Experience designing and implementing n-Tier systems
Agile development experience with SCRUM
Experience in Production BAU, Performance Profiling and Fine Tuning
Continuous integration and Continuous Delivery experience (Jenkins)
Exposure to Micro Services
Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
