+ We are looking for looking for a talented and highly motivated Java/Hadoop Developer III.



**Role Overview:**



+ Responsible for leading a technology team, hands on development, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs/activities.

+ Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria is met for application changes. In-depth knowledge of development tools and languages is a must. Individual contributor role. Ability to partner with the multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to strategic platform. Attention to detail is key and should mentor new team members. The candidate is expected to take responsibility in owning and managing the end to end technical delivery of all the projects.



**Required Skills:**



+ 7+ years experience with Java with Strong core java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC

+ Knowledge of Java profiling tools

+ Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations

+ Experience with Hadoop

+ Knowledge of performance tuning data intensive applications

+ Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills

+ Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech based solutions

+ Exceptional problem-solving skills

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Software development using agile methodology and processes

+ Bachelors degree in computer science or job related field or equivalent experience



**Desired Skills:**



+ Prior experience in supporting lines of businesses

+ Prior development or infrastructure support experience

+ Understanding of Agile Kanban and Scrum

+ Agile / JIRA

+ Background in enterprise stress testing

+ Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing

+ Degree from outstanding university

$90,500 - $160,000

annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
