The J.P. Morgan Payments FX Product organization is responsible for modernizing, scaling and integrating FX payments platforms across the Corporate and Investment Bank and Commercial Banking. We define the product strategy, develop solutions, manage product launches, and enable the sales teams to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

JPM Payments Cross Border Payments Project Manager, VP will play a crucial role in identifying, improving, and developing technology solutions that support our strategic goals. This is a tremendous opportunity to drive the organization to modernize the Cross Border Payments platform and collaborate with colleagues throughout the firm. JPM Payments Cross Border Payments Project Manager, VP will play a crucial role in identifying, improving, and developing technology solutions that support our strategic goals. This is a tremendous opportunity to drive the organization to modernize the Cross Border Payments platform and collaborate with colleagues throughout the firm. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you'll sharpen your understanding of business processes and data analysis, while continuing to develop your leadership, management, and communication skills.


Responsibilities:

Success in the role will require strong leadership, collaboration with key technology partners, operations, compliance, and legal partners, engagement with client facing teams, and taking accountability for the successfully execution of new products and product enhancements with global consistency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Manage strategic workstreams for cross border payments

  • Establish governance process for the key workstreams

  • Track interdependencies of different workstreams

  • Manage investment management process

  • Prioritize the product backlog & maintain momentum for the product development

  • Support changes and/or enhancements across multiple systems, technology platforms and business processes to support projects, enterprise-wide changes and/or ongoing maintenance for the Cross Border Payments platform

  • Analyze strategies to continuously improve efficiency, accuracy and speed-to-market.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of relevant experience in banking

  • Subject matter expertise in payments or FX, particularly international cross-border settlements, including alternative payment methods

  • Project or Program Management experience

  • Understanding of foreign exchange markets, risk management, and trade support

  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with business stakeholders, influencing strategy and development priority

  • Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions in a complex tech environment

  • Agile mindset- both in how you deliver solutions with technology partners, but also in managing competing priorities and client demand

  • Ability to use data to tell stories and drive behavior, and translate business objectives into quantifiable metrics

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and a working knowledge of JIRA,

  • Curiosity to dig into data to identify root cause and efficiency opportunities
