Description
Provide IT support as an Exchange Administrator within an Azure Hybrid-based email environment, to include building, maintaining and troubleshooting end-user mailboxes, Exchange servers, Azure AD Connect, VMware virtual appliances, IronPorts, distribution groups, mail-enabled security groups, shared mailboxes, contacts, public folders and other Azure/on prem-based email nuances. PowerShell scripting, server patching, and hands-on Azure experience. Customer responsiveness and active/pro-active customer engagement are absolute requirements. Responsibilities may include
Windows Server administrating
Use Windows server in setting up app servers, file servers, and backup/failover servers.
VMWare VM deployment and patching
Use PowerShell to change resource groups, permissions, from on-premises, and in Azure.
Work with internal and external Azure tenants, subscriptions, file storage, and on-premises environments.
Create accounts, set permissions for groups and users, Managed resources in Azure.
Image freshly build servers for deployment, convert physical servers to virtual with VMware
Outlook PST repair, Exchange Online configuration/troubleshooting, JSON and PowerShell development.
On-Call rotating weekend schedule when emergency troubleshooting/fulfilment is needed
After business-hours maintenance work
Customer Tier 3 troubleshooting
Present Production/LAB Changes at Review Board
Qualifications
Working Knowledge of
Service Now, VMware vSphere, ESXi, vSAN and Horizon virtualization technologies, IP networking, DNS, and systems integration, ADFS, M365 Defender, Cisco IronPort ESA, Exchange Server 2016/2019, F5 Big-IP Appliances, HP, Dell Servers, Windows Server Setup, Load
Balancing, Registry, CMD tools Workspace One, Verizon/LUMEN E3A, Cisco server appliances, Windows Server Roles & Features: Web
Server, Storage Server, DNS Server and DHCP Server.
Education, Experience & Certification
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years or more experience
Relevant certifications are a plus; such as: Microsoft Azure Administrator Certification | Microsoft Azure Architect | Microsoft 365 Certified: Exchange Online Support Engineer Specialty | VMware Certified Technical Associate Data Center Virtualization
Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
