JOB ACTIVITIES

\r

  • \r

  • Deliver contemporary analytics solutions for all Honeywell business groups and functions.

  • \r

  • Develop solutions on various Database systems via Databricks, Hive, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, etc. working with Big Data, IoT data, SQL, Azure, AWS.

  • \r

  • Drive transformation of legacy solutions to contemporary solutions using the Cloud PaaS, IaaS and SaaS

  • \r

  • Create reusable cloud services frameworks for cloud application adoption Work with scrum masters, product owners, data architects, data engineers, data scientists and DevOps

  • \r

  • Create a new platform using your experience of APIs, microservices, and platform development

  • \r

  • Build products from the idea phase through launch and beyond.

  • \r

  • Drive application cloud adoption goals in collaboration with Database, Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure.

  • \r

  • Define and govern cloud architectural standards/principles, global product security guidelines and cloud governance.

  • \r

  • Identify and implement process improvements and automate processes where possible

  • \r

  • Ensure cloud offerings are highly available, redundant, fault tolerant, diverse, and affordable.

  • \r

  • Conduct POCs and Cloud placement/Cloud fit studies to help make better business decisions

  • \r

  • Diagnose and resolve Cloud Native technical application deployment issues

  • \r

  • Facilitate Cloud technology decisions within the organization and drive \"Cloud First\" strategy.

  • \r

YOU MUST HAVE

\r

  • 8 years of data engineering design, development, application deployment ideally with strong ERP Functional knowledge e.g SAP and Salesforce CRM

  • 2+ years working experience with Microsoft Azure including Azure Storage (ADLS Gen2), Private links, private endpoints

  • 4 years of experience with Spark, Hive, Databricks; Cloudera acceptable

  • 4 years of experience using Kubernetes and Docker

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Strengths building advanced analytics solutions with data from enterprise systems like ERPs (SAP, Salesforce) CRMs

  • Functional understanding Marketing & Logistics tools, Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, Finance to Report, Purchase to Pay

  • \r

  • Azure certification €“ Azure administrator associate

  • \r

  • Experience with Azure components: VM, Azure PaaS database services, VNet, Subnet, Express Route, Azure DNS, Application Insights, Azure AD; Azure KeyVault, Azure Web Apps, Private links, private endpoints

  • \r

  • Experience with NoSQL (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)

  • \r

  • Experience in writing complex SQL statements

  • \r

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies and Scrum

  • \r

  • Experience communicating and working with remote and global teams, cross team collaboration

  • \r

  • Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.

  • \r

  • Experience with visualization software such as Tableau, Qlikview, Angular js, D3.js

  • \r

  • Experience with dimensional modeling, data warehousing and data mining

  • \r

  • Good understanding of branching, build, deployment, CI/CD methodologies such as Octopus and Bamboo

  • \r

  • API development

  • \r

  • Understanding of best-in-class model and data configuration and development processes

  • \r
