**Responsibilities for this position will include the following:**
The Senior Supply Planner is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the US Supply Plan for all products from the 3rd Party vendors within the portfolio, to ensure the correct supply and stocking levels to support sales and operations. You will be responsible to identify & resolve material related issues. This position will work closely with the various country, site, regional and global functional groups of Sales, Marketing, Sales Regional Managers, Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Procurement to ensure effectiveness of the Supply Chain Processes in meeting overall service, inventory and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the monthly development of the Sales & Operations Plan for 3rd party vendors that supports defined customer service and inventory metrics
Liaise within the US supply planning team to coordinate bulk deliveries from internal and external supply sites for 3rd party packaging to support customer service and inventory metrics
Support the Global and Regional S&OP process through relevant metric reporting and summary of risks, opportunities, & key supply decisions required.
Participate in the development of the supply planning strategy and implement relevant elements within Third Party Operations Supply Chain.
Partner with the Supplier Relationship Team (SRT) to support contracting, performance management, and the ongoing relationship with 3rd Party partners
Actively participate in new product introduction, bids/tenders, and product transfer teams to ensure supply plans are developed, communicated and executed in support of the project timelines
Maintains inventory at optimum levels via routine review of planning parameters.
Develop a balanced S&OP supply chain plan for assigned portfolio of products in creation of SAP based 24 month rolling supply plan, including Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP).
Firm the master schedule within the frozen horizon/period. Owner of the Master Production Schedule (MPS)/Stock Requirements list for assigned portfolio of products.
Review MPS weekly Ensure all Materials Requirements Planning (MRP)/ Supply Network Planning (SNP) elements are relevant
Covert purchase orders
Review MRP/SNP messaged & alerts daily and take action as required (focus on A products)
Make all material management decisions based on MRP/SNP data
Maintain inventory accuracy, cycle count, and reconciliation
Monitor MRP health metrics to ensure accuracy of planning book
Escalate issues to Supply Chain Manager as appropriate
Drives long-term supply chain strategy development and implementation across Third Party Operations (TPO) in alignment with Global Operations (TGO), business, and functional strategy goals
Supports standardization of S&OP processes, templates and metrics at TPO & TGO level
Drive to meet critical AOP targets Customer Service Level (CSL)/ On Time in Full (OTIF)
Inventory, Short-Date, and Backorder/OOS
Assist where necessary to resolve supply chain issues and remove roadblocks.
Work with the Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM), as part of the Supplier Relationship Team (SRT), to ensure that suppliers are aligned to the latest strategic initiatives and adhere to the appropriate business, technical, and quality agreements
Escalate all risks, opportunities, & issues to Management and through S&OP process as appropriate
Key Requirements
Minimum three years Supply Chain Planning experience with a demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain concepts and "Best Practices"
Experience with Advanced Planning Systems, e.g., JDE, Oracle, SAP APO/SCM preferred
Specific experience in the areas of Supply Planning, Materials Management, Inventory Management, Demand Planning and Sales / Operations Planning preferred
Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred
Current knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements preferred
Experience in implementing Supply Chain Planning Execution Systems and Processes within an ERP environment, including design and implementation preferred
Senior Supply Chain Planner
Position starting ASAP, 6 month contract from start date. Could be extended longer. Position is hybrid Tues-Thurs on-site and Mon/Friday from home. Needs to be local candidate. Hours are typically 8am-5pm, but some flexibility.
