Job Description
As a Software Engineer you will become a member of a Chase Online Reporting and Custodial Integration scrum team, learn full technology stack, new tools and adhere to development modernization processes. Your knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming will help our scrum team raise their performance, meeting standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support and enhance an existing application.
Software Development: work within an Agile Delivery team creating software applications, services and systems, delivering or enhancing products and solutions. Perform hands on coding and code peer review to guarantee stability of applications, adhere to architecture standards, risk management, security policies, processes and procedures.
Leadership: Must have ability to learn and own processes, ability to work with leads to provide thought leadership and storytelling around how we may support the evolution of the application through design, ability to provide senior level experience in mainframe programming and analysis of complex enterprise level systems.
Collaborate with teammates and product owners grooming backlogs of epics and stories for upcoming development sprints.
Push the limits of advanced software engineering and automation by helping to drive automated software testing, advanced change control, DevOps, and continuous delivery.

Qualifications:
10+ years of professional experience as an enterprise application developer with advanced level skills in IBM Mainframe Technologies
Mainframe COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, MQ
IBM IDZ and z/OS Automating Testing
Database programming using SQL, Stored Procedures
Database utilities Load/Unload, explain, etc.
Database tools such as Platinum, SPUFI, etc.
Transmission tools SFTP, NDM, MQ
Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Advanced knowledge of architecture, design across all systems
Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices
Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
Issue resolution processes for application production problems
Exposure to distributed Technologies Java, Web Service, XML, cloud instances, containers, networks, CI/CD tools are plus
Knowledge of financial industry a plus
