Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring all aspects of airworthiness of the aircraft to include monitoring quality and efficiency of maintenance.
Return to service, recommended inspection items, deferrals, authority as qualified.
Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and inspections on assigned aircraft.
Ensure Flight Control and Director of Maintenance is aware of aircraft maintenance status at all times.
Identify (Schedule) Out-Source maintenance providers (OMP), qualified persons for accomplishment of maintenance to include accomplishing on-site audits.
Responsible for ensuring the procedures within the MPM are followed.
Monitor inspections, repairs, and modifications, performed on assigned aircraft at remote locations.
Review and ensure all required entries into the aircraft logbooks and permanent records are accurate and preserved in accordance with MPM requirements.
Planning of scheduled and coordination of unscheduled maintenance on aircraft during normal and after business hours.
Review Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins as they are released by the FAA, Manufacturer for applicability of assigned aircraft.
Update and interface with Computerized Maintenance Tracking Programs on assigned aircraft to ensure accuracy and implementation in a timely manner.
Procure quotes for upcoming maintenance packages. Assemble and provide a comparison of these events to supervisor for review.
Interface and communicate with the Client, vendors, and other internal departments while coordinating the requirements of maintaining the aircraft
Establish contracts, publications, and subscriptions as necessary ensuring all required manuals to be utilized for maintenance remain current.
Prepare an annual maintenance budget for the aircraft assigned.
Review and approve invoices generated for assigned aircraft.
Reconcile invoices with vendors and process to accounting department for payment.
Accept special projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
Work Experience
Five to seven years of related experience on the type of aircraft operated by WBD.
Knowledge/Skills
FAA AMT Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant Ratings
FAA Inspection Authorization Rating.
Ten (10) years experience with troubleshooting complex airframe and powerplant, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, Part 91.
Computer literate and have experience with aircraft diagnostic programs.
