KPMG is currently seeking a Manager/Director in Risk & Compliance - FS Regulatory & Compliance for our Consulting (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.


Responsibilities:


+ Provide regulatory compliance advisory services to capital markets institutions

+ Design and develop a first line of defense electronic trading operational risk framework

+ Design and develop policies and procedures intended to govern operational risk

+ Design and develop an analytic framework to assist key decision makers on the trading floor in terms of their ability to manage the business within risk tolerances

+ Participate in business development and relationship management efforts, write and present clear and concise reports and presentations containing meaningful recommendations

+ Participate in the development and delivery of specialized internal and external training on regulatory issues


Additional Responsibilities for Director:


+ Lead and support proposal and business development activities by identifying new target clients, building business relationships with key executives, and developing and presenting proposals

+ Provide leadership and oversight to KPMG team members regarding deliverables, project plans, and performance

+ Serve as a leader in recruiting and retention efforts to develop the practice


Qualifications:


+ A minimum of five years of related experience as a consultant with a deep understanding of electronic trading platforms

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

+ Experience in a front office trading environment is required

+ Understanding of all stages of the order lifecycle and corresponding flows through trading architecture is required

+ Experience leading practice policies and procedures to govern operational risk in the electronic trading space

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Travel may be up to 80-100%

+ Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future


Additional Qualifications for Director:


+ A minimum of eight years of experience in advisory services or project management or applicable industry experience

+ Progressive experience leading teams and managing projects and the ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team

+ Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of various levels
