KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Information Architect to join our Data Strategy & Operations organization. This is a remote work opportunity.


Responsibilities:


+ Responsible for implementation of data vision and strategy

+ Ensure adherence to strategies and the related commitments

+ Create and manage business information models in all their forms, including conceptual models, relational database designs, message models and others; use tools such as business information models to provide the organization with a future-state view of the information landscape that is unencumbered by the specific data implementation details imposed by proprietary solutions or technologies

+ Provide analysis by using tools such as business capability models to create an information-centric view to quickly visualize what information matters most to the organization based on the defined business strategy

+ Interact regularly with management within the department and staff across BPG/functional process; help influence client expectations and provide appropriate alternatives, suggestions and recommendations for innovative


Qualifications:


+ Minimum five years of recent leadership experience in data organization; CDO or equivalent, or in IT or Architecture, including information system design and data analysis

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

+ Hands on experience of designing and implementing information or data solutions, as well as with innovation and ideation methods, such as design thinking; hands-on experience supporting data and analytics programs is preferred

+ Solid understanding of business domain, data/content and process, as well as understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models and metamodels, taxonomies and ontologies, as well as of the challenges of applying structured techniques (data modeling) to less-structured sources

+ Knowledge of Data modeling and information classification with knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design, and programming techniques; familiarity with data science concepts, as well as MDM, business intelligence and data lake and warehouse design and implementation techniques, as well as with distributed management and analytics in cloud and hybrid environments; in addition, experience as a data analyst is preferred, as well as specific experience with data and business information modeling is a plus

+ US Citizenship is required
