This role will play a pivotal role in identifying KPIs and designing compelling dashboards that tell a story for internal and customer facing uses. We are seeking a dynamic individual who will leverage advanced analytical skills/data science to create reporting and analysis and partner with a broader CAI analytics team, leveraging best practices. The Marketing Analytics Manager will be our resident subject matter expert, fostering data improvements across a broader CAI organization that will enable improved and actionable marketing reporting. We are looking for someone who has a passion for data, and a collaborative spirit that lends itself to partnering with key stakeholders to create solutions that link campaign goals with business objectives and fuel winning growth strategies. This individual will partner with broader marketing team members (including Field Marketing, Key Account Marketing, Digital Marketing and Cox analytics team) to translate technical information and align data requirements with stated business goals. Along with robust analytical skills, this person must be a strategic thinking, self-starter with an actionable mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Develop robust dashboards and scorecards that lead data-driven decision making * Stay abreast of Cox Automotive data systems, and databases to understand what data is available for marketing programs * Design and implement visualization technologies leveraging tools like Power BI, Tableau, Domo, Datorama, etc. * Perform complex data extracts, data joins, and analysis using various tools and data sources such as SQL and SAS * Confidently extracts and queries large amounts of data with appropriate programming languages * Demonstrates attention to quality of data and programming code * Work in collaboration with IT and developers to test, develop and validate data * Become SME on data sources and availability * Identify data improvement opportunities and work on solutions with a broader Cox Automotive data governance team * Document technical solutions and end user training guides * Develop techniques to measure the business, predict incremental return on investment and revenue attribution * Perform pre/post campaign analysis, target list development, quarterly scorecards to lead data-driven decision making * Report on, analyze performance of, and drive user insights for marketing activities including but not limited to paid search, social media, email, SEO, etc. * Keep abreast of digital analytical tools/solutions in the market to inform our learning agenda * Work with broader Cox Automotive (CAI) analytical ecosystem to leverage best practices in reporting development * Proactively participate in and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, standardization, and process simplification * Foster report automation and continuous improvement * Technology We Use * : AWS, SQL Workbench, SAS, Snowflake, Python, Web activity tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, SAP Business Objects, Oracle. * Required Experience: * * Bachelors degree in Math/Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Business/Finance and 6 years of business analytical experience (including 3 years of experience with complex database systems, business intelligence tools, and related systems) or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. * Preferred Experience: * * Strong command of analytics methodologies, ability to leverage advanced mathematical and statistical principles to inform and validate analysis * Proven experience with data Visualization platforms (as a developer), such as Tableau or MicroStrategy * Advance database & query experience * Strong analytical abilities * Advanced MS Excel skills including functions/formulas/visualization development and plug-ins for other business intelligence platforms * Must have ability to use SQL, SAS experience * Must possess key analytics department core values: adaptability, simplicity, excellence, customer mindset * Experience with SFDC Datorama or Domo * Understanding of email marketing * Experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics * Database marketing experience * Salesforce /Marketing Cloud * Exposure to cloud technology such as AWS * Knowledge of Salesforce/Marketing Cloud back-end processes * Advanced degree (M.S., MBA) a plus #Remote-Central #Remote-NE #Remote-SE About Cox Automotive At Cox Automotive, people of every background are driven by their passion for mobility, innovation and community.
